On particularly hot summer days, a comfortably cooled room is an important part of your well-being. That is why we are keen to provide clear information on why not all rooms at the At the Park Hotel are currently equipped with air conditioning.
Our hotel currently has 17 air-conditioned rooms in various categories. When booking, guests are welcome to specify that they would like a room with air conditioning. Subject to availability, we will of course do our best to accommodate this request.
There are several reasons why we cannot fit all rooms with air conditioning. On the one hand, we face structural limitations: the existing systems are located in the attics, where the available air volume is already fully utilised. On the other hand, our hotel is situated in a conservation area of the town of Baden. Due to the applicable planning regulations, we are therefore not permitted to install additional outdoor units, for example, on the roofs.
Unfortunately, expanding our current capacity is not possible at present. However, we hope that more powerful and efficient technical solutions will become available in the future, enabling us to supply more rooms via the existing installations.
For rooms without air conditioning, we naturally provide fans and do our utmost to make our guests’ stay as comfortable as possible, even on warm days.
